Daily Duties at Barclays Global Investors:

Provide support to the Business Continuity Director Responsible for maintaining and adhering to regulatory body requirements, company policies, processes and procedures for business continuity planning utilizing industry standards Support the enterprise wide Business Continuity program development, implementation, exercise and maintenance Collaborate with business and support units to ensure that business continuity plans are proactively updated and maintained to reflect all significant changes in the business Co-manage the enterprise disaster recovery program Plan, organize and coordinate annual update of business continuity plans for the organization Initiate and manage updates to planning documentation and maintain appropriate tracking mechanisms Document and address deficiencies as noted by recovery teams Participate in preparation of annual regulatory filing Create and execute project plans based on BCP strategy and goals Responsible for material changes to business continuity plans as the needs of the business change between annual updates Provide oversight and feedback on enterprise disaster recovery program via participation in disaster recovery tests and related activities Identify and recommend opportunities to improve business continuity strategy and organization Present Business Continuity Program initiatives, plans, results to the Executive Management Team Manage Work Area Recovery sites Direct Work Area Recovery exercises, tests
