Daily Duties at Melisa’s Pc Consulting And Web Design :
· Taught novice users basics of Windows operation (copy, paste, navigation, program install, etc.) · Taught users how to use software applications including MS Word, Excel, Access, Publisher, Digital Photo editing software, Contact management database software · Taught users how to use computer peripherals such as: scanner, camera, card reader, and printer · Taught users how to perform basic maintenance with use of: Disk Defrag, Disk Checker, and Disk Cleanup · Taught users how to connect Blue Tooth devices to their computer and troubleshoot them when they didn’t work initially · Set up secured wireless networks · Fix connectivity issues on both wireless and wired networks · Set up network printer · General maintenance on a 7-computer workgroup (5 desktops & 2 wireless laptops) · Experience with Windows 95, 98, 2000, and XP operating systems · Virus, ad-ware, trojan, and worm removal · Basic troubleshooting, both over the phone and in person · Custom building and upgrading of personal computers
