Daily Duties at Impco Technologies Inc.:

Responsible for customer contract, technical, and marketing proposal preparation, negotiation, acquisition, and fulfillment of contracts for military aircraft applications. • Effectively directed resources resulting in on-time delivery of quality products. • Received commendation from the Department of Defense and Lockheed. • Directed the integration of project management team, which included purchasing, engineering, quality assurance, and operations departments. • Developed product policies and procedures. Interpreted and communicated objective downward to ensure proper implementation. Engineering Manager (1989 – 1991) Directed technical efforts of engineers, designers, and drafting personnel to design and develop the Flexible Fuel Feedline, hydro-mechanical control valves, swivel joints, fittings, manifold valves, and check valves. In this position, reported to the Vice President of Operations. • Evaluated OEM design proposal / requirements, planned department budget, goals, and objectives, developed division technical plan, and prepared product technical proposals. • Was instrumental in company receiving award for three large aerospace / government contracts which increased company revenues by $2.3M. • Designed and prepared technical proposal selected by Lockheed for the F-16, F-22, and A-12 aircraft.
