Principle Accountabilities Successfully managed all strategic and tactical supply management, material management and logistics activity for the SMP Blairsville site, reporting to the plant controller. Responsibilities included strategic material planning, spending control/analysis, process improvement and new solution implementation as well as day to day managing of purchasing professionals and represented hourly resources associated with shipping, receiving & stores activities. Also lead many BU wide strategic sourcing initiatives associated with commodity management, reducing indirect spending, SAP MM administration and supply risk management. Key strengths I offer include strategic sourcing, spend analysis, problem solving, negotiations, supply risk management, supplier relationships, cost/process control, facilitating/leading cross functional teams, project management and effective communicator (written and verbal) as demonstrated by the following short-list of recent accomplishments.
