Daily Duties at Exel, Inc.:
In my most recent position I was a General Manager for Exel in a facility over 500,000 square feet with as many as 140 full and part time associates. In this role I was responsible for all aspects of the operation including budget preparation and financial reporting, customer and internal key performance indicator measurement, associate relations and staffing, succession planning, receiving, shipping, inventory control, quality, and a big emphasis on safety. I led several continuous improvement projects that resulted in productivity gains as high as 88% and $170,000 in yearly savings. In previous roles with Exel I managed special projects that included custom floor display assembly encompassing 5 different facilities and over 300 associates.
