Daily Duties at Frito Lay:

Major Role: Managed all aspects of marketing programs, product development and merchandising efforts. Worked with cross-functional teams including Creative Services, Product Management, Sales, Finance, and External Agencies to achieve marketing objectives. Evaluated effectiveness of marketing programs, drew conclusions and developed actionable recommendations within scope. • Supported Marketing Director in leading international team through the product development process from creation to shelf (consumer research, design, product development, packaging, launch, and distribution). • Managed packaging design, sales materials, P.O.S., and international team relations. • Maximized marketing efforts through managing and maintaining A/M budget of 2.4 M. • Managed agencies through the marketing process (advertising, merchandising materials, consumer events, etc.). • Managed the development, execution, and analysis of sales/marketing promotions, coupons, and merchandising schematic. • Led cross-functional team relationships (finance/budget, external agency projects, merchandising, international product development, etc. • Developed inter-company marketing initiatives to promote company morale and product knowledge. Special Projects/Achievements: • Developed international and US relationships and streamlined communication efforts. • Introduced and developed product shipper ( 20% in incremental sales Q4 2005). • Developed seasonal promotion involving packaging redesign, and a drop pallet program achieving a 45% increase in sales vs. prior year.
