Daily Duties at Orkin Pest Control:
Accounts receivable, billing, filing, answering the telephone, ordering office supplies, and genreal duties, including computer operation (Windows, Power Point, Excel, Word Perfect). Customer service, customer complaints, and telephone sales. Scheduling for 7 pest control technicians and 2 termite technicians daily services, and home inspections. Hiring and trainging new office personnel. Tracking time sheets, and payroll information. Ecplaining and enrolling employees in the company 401K program. Explaining the insurance program to new employees, enrolling tracking paperwork to insure employees get correct program and coverage for them and their families. Tracking pest control inventory, and compiling monthly chemical usage reports and placing restocking orders. Making daily bankdeposits, logging payments to customers accounts. Tracking past due accounts and contacting customers for collections fo these accounts.
