Responsibilities •Coordinated the needs of the plant and configuration to ensure a seamless conversion and production plans and customer requirements are met as planned •Supported requirements planning with key customers and partners, including sharing requirements and problem solving •Developed and coordinated plant inventory layout to identify obsolete, damaged, returned and mislabeled inventory •Assessment and process improvement of existing facility shipping policies and procedures •Procured all necessary hardware for installs •Self-directed and team-oriented planning and organizational activities – travel – 75%, resource distribution, and cost management as the site Area Lead or Support Personnel Achievements •Area Lead for Business Vantage Point (BVP) Shipping on-site team – successfully completed three large and complex implementation engagements •Training and compliance monitoring - successfully trained shipping personnel on BVP best practices and procedures to ensure effective use of systematic and external tools required to manage all shipping operations as a part of an enterprise system •Successfully managed the role of liaison between client plant and third-party warehousing personnel which resulted in an effective transition from two legacy perpetual inventory and shipping software systems thereby reducing miscommunication and system-related errors •Effective cost management for purchased and installed shipping software and hardware packages required for each site’s transition to Business VantagePoint
