Daily Duties at Save Ellis Island:

•Responsible for providing comprehensive financial support and providing internal controls that assure that the assets of the company are protected and maximized. •Prepare all financial reports including financial statements, cash-flow analysis, budgets, quarterly depreciation, amortization and prepaid expense tables, general journal entries, accruals and allocations. •Prepare accounting of expenses for various state and federal grants and assist in preparation of reports for Grantors. •Work with auditing firm in reviewing and analyzing draft financial statements. •Prepare annual budget to be reviewed and approved by the Board of Directors. •Manage all new employee paperwork, including distribution of employee manuals, W-2 forms, I-9s, Conflict of Interest policy, health insurance and 403(b) applications.
