Daily Duties at Unisys Nadc:

Installed Maintained and updated new versions of CICS and Third Party Products. I upgraded Transaction Server from version 2.2 to 2.3. Installed new version of Abendaid for CICS, Xpediter for CICS, SysbII, Energizer for CICS, Omegamon for CICS, and the Compuware Management Services products (ECC, CSS, LMS, HostCom). My normal duties were addition of new entries to CSD both through batch and through the RDO ceda transaction as required by programming staff. I have worked with the applications groups helping them to resolve programming issues and problems with their programs. Maintained Service Level at a 98.9% for the last year. I also performed security requests through ACF2. We were on a Z/OS ESA system and we used SMPE to install and maintain most of the products within our systems. I have worked with IBM utilities on an ongoing basis for many years. I have installed products with smpe and non-smpe . I have coordinating migration from test to production without any problems or issues. I have Participate in Operating System and various OEM Software product upgrades to include software vendor contacts to resolve any issues or problems with the installs. I have installed software products and performed system testing, coordinate product validation, quality assurance test and production implementation. I have Document all installs with user instructions, customization and processes following Data Center Standards. I have developed any necessary user modifications and enhancements necessary for the OEM products. I have Evaluated the impact of new releases and maintenance upgrade test plans. I have provided support for Omegamon for cics. I have created backup systems for all the cics systems I have installed. I have helped to create DR scripts for use during DR testing at other sites. I have worked with RACF and Maintaining RACF Task List. Installed MacKinney system products such as CEMT batch and others. I have installed Tmon for monitoring the CICS regions. I have created new regions installed new applications through RDO and use CEDA , CEDB, CEDC through RDO. I have helped application programmers using CEDF.
