Daily Duties at Horizon Retail Construction:
Managed all aspects of construction projects including profit goals, negotiating costs, expediting schedules, quality control, and value engineering on projects ranging from $50k-$250k and 1500-6000 sq. ft. in size. • Increased profit margins 10% to 15% by selecting qualified contractors and vendors, selecting self-performing superintendents, negotiating profitable buy-outs of subcontractors, and managing maximized allotted time of projects. • Analyzed cost and scheduling opportunities in an effort to identify and apply solutions to current and future projects. • Enforced the corporate safety program to minimize job related accidents. • Achieve written approval for all owner/client change orders before billable work is performed.
