• Prepared monthly financial statements and supporting schedules, including division and branch performance reports. • Prepared and reviewed job cost reports to identify and research variances or discrepancies. • Directed monthly and annual financial close processes. • Filed and reconciled monthly, quarterly and annual sales tax returns and personal property tax returns. • Supervised ten employees in the areas of accounts payable, general ledger, accounts receivable and credit and collections. • Maintained JD Edwards financial database. • Compiled and reviewed forecasting processes. • Prepared monthly expense analysis consisting of explanations for prior month and budget fluctuations. • Maintained and reconciled fixed assets through the JD Edwards fixed asset module. • Responsible for direction of annual external audit by external independent accountants. • Tracked daily cash position.
