Daily Duties at Us Army Contracting Command, Europe:
Secretary to Commander and Contracting staff consisting of 120 US and Local National personnel. Scheduled conferences/meetings and prepared slides for subject briefings for in-house and off-site locations. Government credit card holder, ordered supplies, prepared Purchase Requests and Commitment forms to support budgetary expenditures. Created unit crest insignia from personal design, used throughout the Contracting Command. Organized two military Changes of Command, ceremonies for military VIPs and the Lord Mayor of Wiesbaden, Germany. Maintained the vendor data base which assisted contracting personnel utilizing PD2 system. Designed (freelance) award presentations/certificates from scratch using Power Point, Corel Draw and other computer programs. Designed graphs and charts using Microsoft Excel and Power Point, and Publisher. Maintained employee data base to include position descriptions, educational background, work experience, etc., using Microsoft Access. Coordinated training for subordinate administrative personnel. Provided assistance to WCC Legal Office in conducting contracts for review. Coordinated for senior staff travel arrangements on a continuous basis. Using own initiative and judgment, prepared routine correspondence from verbal instructions for Commander/Deputy signature. Time and Attendance monitor. Prepared personnel actions for in-house approval and Civilian Personnel processing. Used my own initiative to provide training to other administrative assistants.
