Daily Duties at Del Technical Services:

Achievements:  Adapted to a recruiting environment on a contract basis, requiring high volume strategy for a fast-paced, complex project.  Immediate impact to recruiting efforts with successful sourcing, screening, and qualification of candidates unique to a gas and electric utility company. Responsibilities:  Full cycle nationwide recruiting for skill sets unique to a gas and electric utility: o Natural Gas: Gas Journeyman, Gas Serviceman, Gas Meter & Control Technician, Utility Operator, etc. o Electric: Journeyman Electrician, Substation Electrician Technician, Lineman, etc. o Fluid Generation and Power Plant: Welder, Operator, Technician, etc.  Providing consultative support to sales leadership and project manager workforce planning strategies, timelines, sourcing, and project assignments.  Leveraging all available sourcing strategies to obtain qualified candidates; i.e. job boards, internal applicant tracking databases (MaxHire), external applicants, referrals, etc.; testing candidates using internal resources, administering interview questionnaires, etc.  Sourcing and managing an effective pipeline of key talent potentially available for immediate hire as project planning needs dictate.  Managing and coordinating all communication with candidates; high volume of calls, emails, and follow-up.  Reporting of daily numbers to sales leadership: call volume, calls placed, potential candidates, submittals, external applicants, team efficiency, approved submittals, interviews, etc.
