Daily Duties at Chrysler Llc:
Accountable for overseeing follow-up operations associated with productive and non-productive material used in producing all vehicle families. Oversaw a daily supplier pipeline of $40M-$60M. Managed two extension-of-the-plant facilities including all logistics and inventory materials. Directed supply chain organization management, materials procurement, JIT delivery, excess transportation costs, inventory flow control, record management, and materials float for two product shifts. Ensured proper implementation and float representation by organizing and reviewing LEAN strategies. Analyzed and reported EOP business elements and collaborated with management in devising new business development strategist and operational initiatives. Responsible for developing annual goals, reviewing employees, and conducting cross-training efforts. Assigned daily tasks and supervised 14 employees. – Cut logistical costs 44% resulting in a $900K cost avoidance / savings for FY 2006. – Reduced excess transportation costs $1.2M+ leading to a year-end improvement 49.7% under budget. – Spearheaded corporate core values surrounding safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee morale. – Recognized for achievement of lowest record in equalized operational, transportation, and delivery costs resulting in minimal production downtime. – Chosen by senior management to participate in analyzing / devising materials tracking measurements.
