Daily Duties at The Boeing Company:
Developed annual purchasing plans for commodities and established objectives for reducing costs from vendors. Sourced vendors and analyzed bids for contract approvals and vendor selection. Procured industry standard fasteners, bearings, electronic components and raw materials for airline customers and internal inventory replenishment. Worked with vendors and Boeing quality assurance to monitor on-going vendor performance for quality and delivery standards. Quality Assurance Inspector Inspected aircraft parts for Customer Service Spares. Worked with Procurement Agents and Supplier Quality Control to assure compliance within ISO9000, ISO9001 and Lean Manufacturing. Utilized numerous inspection measurement devices including calipers, micrometer, hole and height gauges. Storekeeper Continuous Quality Team Leader working within the organization to reduce errors and increase lead times for order processing. Processed customer orders, AOG support, kitting, shipping and receiving departments.
