Daily Duties at Texas Army National Guard:

7/2005-4/2007 Managed the 36th Infantry Division 's (ID) Analysis & Control Element (ACE), a facility of 30 analysts conducting intelligence operations, while deployed to the Serbian Republic of Kosovo in support of NATO Peacekeeping Mission. Directed intelligence activities and provided technical, operational, and administrative guidance to facility personnel. Assisted the ACE Chief and senior intelligence officers in appraising the effectiveness of intelligence functions, publications, and procedures and recommended changes. Worked with facility systems administrators regarding the interoperability, maintenance, and security of over 100 classified computer systems and associated equipment. Coordinated visits of officials from European and U.S. DoD organizations with a vested interest in the ACE's intelligence process. • 9/2004-7/2005 Supported narcotics investigations of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), San Antonio, TX as an Intelligence Analyst with the Texas Joint Forces Counter Drug Task Force. Conducted research using internal and commercial databases (Lexis-Nexis) to collect background information on target criminal subjects. Reviewed or wrote subpoenas requesting access to telephone company toll data in conjunction with drug investigations. Collected and analyzed subpoenaed telephone toll data from telephone companies. Compiled toll information into a telephone query database (Penlink). Developed an intelligence picture of Drug Trafficking Organizations and their operations based on all research and analysis (i2 Analyst Notebook). Reported findings to supervisors and case agents. Provided federal attorneys and judges with information leading to federal court proceedings and indictments. • 10/2003-8/2004 Conducted all source intelligence operations in the 36th ID's ACE, while deployed to the Serbian Republic of Kosovo, in support of NATO Peacekeeping Mission. Coordinated and compiled intelligence from Single Source sections (ELINT, HUMINT, IMINT, SIGINT) into a fused product, forming an updated intelligence picture to assist the Task Force Commander's decision making process. Produced a daily Intelligence Summary (INTSUM) of activity for national consumers. Supervised five all source analysts. • 9/2000-9/2003 Supported narcotics investigations of the Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), San Antonio, TX as an Intelligence Analyst with the Texas Joint Forces Counter Drug Task Force. • 2/2000-9/2000 Managed eight local Bosnian translators, while deployed to Bosnia and Herzegovina as an Open Source Intelligence Analyst, who gathered and translated local and regional news articles into English with relevance to NATO Peacekeeping Mission in the region. Analyzed and compiled translated news articles for posting onto a Task Force Open Source webpage for command and national consumers. Provided articles of significance to the intelligence operations supervisor for further reporting in accordance with the Task Force Commander's priority requirements. • 10/1998-2/2000 Supported narcotics investigations of the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), Laredo, TX as an Intelligence Analyst with the Texas Joint Forces Counter Drug Task Force.

Less important to you are stability of the organization, the length of time an organization has been in business, and the business' plans for the future. You prefer a fast-moving company that will take risks to achieve its goals and objectives. The length of time the company has been in business is irrelevant. Maintaining status quo is unnecessary. You thrive on change, uncertainty and the upside of potential business risks, especially those associated with innovation. Stability for the long haul is not nearly as important as is working in an atmosphere that is charged with a sense of urgency and constant change.
