Daily Duties at Forest View Rehab Ctr:

-Receive payments on accounts and issue/mail receipts as necessary -Post daily journal and payments as necessary/required -Write and receive charges according to predetermined classifications -Post current charges to proper account ledgers and balance ledgers as required -Ensure statements are prepared for non-insured accounts in accordance with established billing System -Prepare accounts-receivable reports and refer delinquent accounts to credit department -Prepare/mail statements to patients/residents whose insurance cases have been rejected, or on account balances after authorized coverages are paid -Submit notices of admission to insurance companies, government agencies as required and analyze bills/statements received -Follow up all claims by sending collection letters and making phone calls to collect debt and refer delinquent accounts to account/credit department -Maintain CONFIDENTIALITY of all pertinent patient/resident care information to ensure patient/resident rights are protected -Prepared payroll for submission for 200+ employees biweekly on ADP -Prepared miscellaneous employee deductions to be paid (IRS, child support, insurance, and etc.) -Orientate and ensure that all new employees complete necessary paperwork -Organize and maintain employee confidential information -Preparing and informing corporate office of FMLA employees -making sure employees attends and enrolls in benefits -Calculate employee hours worked (process & review timecards on all staff daily) -Comply each department hours worked per day and put on the key factor report that calculates budget per department and PPD numbers -Complies with government regulations and company guidelines -Pays the reconciling monthly insurance statement -Add or change benefits online -Running and Observing criminal background checks on each employee -Reviewing patient medical bills and resubmit with insurance information -Disbursing monies from patient trust accounts -Making sure all wage verification are filled out and disbursed accurately -Communicating with directors/mgrs concerning payroll matters -Prepare and verify quarterly payroll reports as required (EX: PTO) -Assisting employees in obtaining information on their payroll checks (EX: OVERTIME, BONUS, PTO, TAXES, ETC) -Creating and printing reports using Reports Smith -Processing collection letters for the Resident Private Pay -Coding A/P invoices and entering into American Health Tech -Processing checks 2 times a month to pay vendors of +60 -Reconciling Resident Trust fund accounts per month -Reconciling Petty Cash of $1200 when necessary -Reconciling Resident Petty Cash of $300 every Friday -Maintaining purchase order file -Match invoices to purchase orders -Forward invoices to appropriate department directors for review/approval
