Daily Duties at Children's Home Society Of Florida :

Implement and manage statewide information systems and manage tactical implementation of all management information systems including both technical and manual processes. This includes local and wide area networks and all hardware and software requirements. Support unification of the production systems across the state into centralized services providing optimal services to both end users and the management team. • Oversee implementation and management of cellular and regular telephone systems. Manage and support MIS staff and resources. • Direct operational support center for Southern Florida • Oversee 5 separate divisions in 5 counties with technical, billing and financial responsibilities. • Re-organized work flow processes and tracking mechanisms to ensure appropriate staffing • Re-organized MIS department to functional areas that would support the organization • Provided presentation and documentation and cost analysis for organizational growth and development. • Implemented Community Based Care programs throughout South Florida. • Gathered information and prepared RFP’s as well as provided information for others to prepare RFP for vendors in order to procure new or enhanced technology. • Ensured HIPAA compliance of all systems. • Participated in outside agency proposals, negotiation and implementations. • Developed annual budgets and ensured adherence to those budgets. • Develop and implement organizational strategies • Perform as Chief Information Officer in the absence of the current CIO. • Meet with and present to executive management.
