Daily Duties at Comprehensive Alcohol Rehabilitation Program :

Responsible for all Agencies' Client Information Systems, Client Medical Records and the direct management of information systems at the agency. Ensure for the departmental staffing, training, monitoring, and evaluation of all subordinate staff positions, formulates and implements broad administrative policies and procedures related to these departments and assure for coordination throughout the agency. Responsible to ensure the collection, dissemination, development, analysis and interpretation of data and reports to facilitate agency operations and management. • Responsible for management of all clinical information files and systems and ensures the protection maintenance and release of confidential information in accordance HIPAA and Marchman Act federal and state regulations. • Upgraded Client/Server environment to Microsoft server 2003 • Increased efficiency in reporting. Reengineered process in Microsoft Access to provide financial data within an hour rather than a 24 hour period. • Ensure that all data and client information systems operate in a manner which is efficient, effective and developed in a manner which provides adequate flexibility to meet the continually changing information requirements of the agency. • Provide broad administrative control through the establishment and periodic update of policies and procedures for all subordinate departments. Coordinate and supervise the MIS and Medical Records Department and activities. Additionally, coordinate and provide supervision of consultants related to departmental activities and monitored according to contractual standards. • Supervision of the Client Information System and complete responsibility for the collection of data and appropriate reporting of data as required to include ad hoc reporting. • Develop, monitor and implement the performance measures and other agency management documents as required to ensure for contractual, statutory licensures and regulatory compliance. • Maintain and negotiate vendor contracts.
