Daily Duties at Kemira Chemicals:
Responsible for resolving all issues with the chemical application systems, including installations and training at customer facilities throughout the country. Primary focus was maintaining customer satisfaction pertaining to the chemical application equipment. I participated in the development of equipment improvements by providing input from the field to Engineering/Design Dept. The evolution of many application systems occurred from ideas I implemented in the field. All equipment systems used a TI, Koyo or AB PLC, various diaphragm pumps, proximity-sensors, low-voltage solenoid valves, float switches, air-piloted valves and more. I developed close relationships with most customers and achieved a reputation for doing a thorough job. It was rewarding to learn that my efforts were the reason many customers chose to keep us as their supplier. I used MS programs-Excel, Word, Power Point and other programs for creating reports, proposals and presentations.
