Daily Duties at University Of Pennsylvania Athletics:
• Create and implement budget for Penn Athletics marketing • Oversee creation and implementation of comprehensive marketing plans for Penn football, men’s basketball and the Penn Relays • Oversee and implement all marketing activity for Penn Athletics, the Penn Relays and special athletics events, including scripts, in- game promotions, videoboard content, fan zones, and related sponsor activity • Oversee production and design of marketing collateral pieces including promotional posters, schedule cards, premium giveaways, and ticket brochures • Lead Athletics contact for the Red & Blue Crew, Penn’s student support group and community relations programs • Form and maintain relationships with university departments such as Alumni Relations, Community Relations, University Life, Penn Student Agencies, student government and the Greek system • Oversee relationship and contract with JumpTV, PennAthletics.com and ThePennRelays.com website host, and served as lead department contact on recent redesigns of both sites • Oversee merchandising, licensing and branding for Penn Athletics • Negotiate and manage radio contracts for football and men’s basketball • Responsible for renewals and fulfillment of contractual obligations of 47 sponsors during FY2008, including coordination with several agencies • Solicitation of new sponsors and increased sponsor revenues by 16% for Athletics and 34% for the Penn Relays during combined FY2007 and 2008. Currently, lead department contact to Penn Athletics outside sales agency, Nelligan Sports Marketing • Supervise two full-time assistants and one intern
