Daily Duties at Flaig Steel & Fabrication:
My job consist of producing shop drawings and managing the projects drawn, along with special projects. This includes the issueing/receiving and documenting of DQ's, RFI's,ASI's, and DCP's along with staying in constant contact with the erection company, the general contractor, the architect, the engineer of record, and the fabrication manager. Also costing and customer management, reacting to urgent situations under the guidelines of the contract. Most drawings were produced with Autocad.
