Daily Duties at Emirates Glass Llc:
Job Profile : Production and Planning : Overseeing production related tasks including planning, control and trouble shooting. Setting up production targets and achieve the same within time and cost parameters. Developing new process concepts for production optimization, yield improvement and developing guidelines for sequencing of manufacturing activities on the shop floor. Minimizing performance bottlenecks for achieving high productivity with minimum consumption of material & machine and monitoring expenses. Operations & Maintenance: Planning and effecting preventive maintenance schedules of various machinery and instruments to increase machine up time / equipment reliability; thereby accomplishing planned production targets within budget. Proactively identify areas of obstruction / breakdowns and take steps to rectify the equipments through application of trouble shooting tools. Reconditioning and retro-fitment of machines. Coordinating material / spare parts planning related activities encompassing identification of vendors, requirement of specification and offer evaluation. Planning and executing capital procurement. Regular communication with internal customers to meet production oriented requirements. Process Enhancement : Identifying scope for implementation & monitoring of technological changes to enhance productivity. Executing cost saving techniques / measures and modifications to achieve substantial reduction in O&M expenditures and work within the budget. Effective disposal of Process scrap / scraped assets. Quality Control/ Assurance : Identifying areas of quality failures and take steps to rectify the system. Practicing quality standards with key emphasis on improving quality. Planning and installing inspection equipments and testing machines. Man Management: : Leading, mentoring & monitoring the performance of the team to ensure efficiency in process operations & meeting of individual & group targets. Identifying training needs across levels through mapping of skills required for different roles and analysis of the existing level of competencies.
