Daily Duties at Spectra Link/Polycom:
802.11 wireless VOIP telephone firmware design, development, and testing including FPGA validation. SRP (Spectralink Radio Protocol) and H.323 voice product development in C Language. Real-time debugging with Logic Analyzer and O-Scope. Tool development in Perl and Korn shell scripting.

What am I excited about?
I am excited about contributing to the company's bottom line. Nothing is more exciting than knowing my work has had a positive impact on revenue. Sure it's fun doing development - writing software, bringing up new hardware, analyzing and resolving customer issues etc. But at the end of the day it's a business and we want to ship product.
