Daily Duties at Invista:
Supervisor • Supervise plant personnel • Ensure the balance of all process areas to maximize production and energy savings • Ensure quality product from all process areas through safe and efficient means • Review and sign safety permits • Prioritize equipment maintenance Control Room Operator (A/B Line, C Line, and D Line) • Use of SAP to ensure product is ready for plant shipments • Operate Delta V Process board • Use of SAP for maintenance notifications and work orders • Monitor process equipment • Make necessary adjustments to safely produce quality products • Create and maintain PI graphics for A/B Line, C Line, and D Line • Monitor lab analysis for quality control and energy savings Procurement Reengineering Team Member • Help to implement Work Group Services (WGS) for entire chemical plant • Train employees in WGS for preventative maintenance • Benchmarked various plants for best work practices Field Operator • Fire brigade • High level rescue team member • Use of SAP to create maintenance work orders • Operation of forklift • Operation of JLG • SIT Leader • Inspect equipment to prevent premature failure • Obtain process samples for lab analysis
