Daily Duties at Carefx:
Project: Portal Viewer - A portal dashboard which allowed physicians to access data from various systems. Project: Portal Enabler Integration project which allowed various portal servers to achieve SSO and support CCOW functions. • Led team of 30 developers designing, creating and supporting the above projects • Taking responsibility for project quality and timeliness • Estimating effort for projects that range in duration from a few weeks to several months • Interviewing, hiring, promoting, and making all other personnel decisions. • Advising company executives on key enterprise technology decisions • Engaging vendors, negotiating contracts, and managing outsourced projects • Client site support for pre sale, post sale, feedback gathering, vendor corporations and deployment • Served as a technical lead for high level architecture design. Generated various UML artifacts including State Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams and Class Diagrams for OOA/OOD. • Used Spring Portal bridge web framework for portlet. • Used Hibernate for the data mapping and data accessing. • Used various design patterns including Factory, Inverse Of Control, etc. • Wrote JUnit Test Cases. • Responsible for the code review, and final deployment. • Other projects included Meditiech Viewer, Trinity Viewer, Jetspeed Portal Enabler, SharePoint Portal Enabler, Auditing Log, etc. Technologies: Java Servlet, Java Portlet, Struts, Spring, Hibernate, GWT, Java 1.3, 1.4 and 1.5, Microsoft DOM and XML Environment: WebSphere Application Server, WebSphere Portal Server, Tomcat, Oracle 8i, SQL server, MySQL, Sun Solaris and Linux
