Daily Duties at Wp Technologies:
Project: www.schoowiser.com - A platform which allows students, teachers and parents to exchange ideas about the school and classes using forum, group email, announcements, and comments. Project: www.efamish.com - An online food ordering website used for group ordering. • Led team of 10 developers designing, creating and supporting the above two web applications • Taking responsibility for project quality and timeliness • Estimating effort for projects that range in duration from a few weeks to several months • Interviewing, hiring, promoting, and making all other personnel decisions. • Advising company executives on key enterprise technology decisions • Engaging vendors, negotiating contracts, and managing outsourced projects • Worked with Business Analyst to gather and analyze requirements and Use Cases. • Served as a technical lead for high level architecture design. Generated various UML artifacts including State Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams and Class Diagrams for OOA/OOD. • Used Spring and Struts to develop the web framework for each project. • Used Hibernate for the data mapping and data accessing. • Used several well known design patterns including Factory, Inverse Of Control, etc. • Wrote JUnit Test Cases. • Responsible for the code review, and final deployment. Technologies: Java Servlet, Struts, JSF, Spring, Hibernate, Java 1.5, Environment: WebSphere Application Server, Tomcat, MySQL and Linux
