• Progressed up from director through senior vice president while managing 9 teams of various service types such as Private Line, ATM, Frame Relay, IP and Switched Services • Gained experience with provisioning voice and data services that range from T1 up to OC-192 • Successfully interacted with planning, engineering, field operations, and the network control center to build a 100 million mile network through the enforcement of accountability, ownership, empowerment and process/procedures improvement • Developed organizational processes to improve efficiencies in circuit design/routing, ASR send/FOC receive, and customer installation • Successfully reduced DS3/OCn provisioning interval by 75%, T1 provisioning interval by 55% and improved clean ASR average interval from 24 days to 5 days for broadband and from 5 days to 1 day for narrowband orders. • Established a network optimization team who focused network grooms to increase the efficiency of the network and realize $90M of annual recurring expense reduction. • Developed and enforced accurate reporting on 30,000 backlogged orders for team performance and department accountability. Reduced backlogged orders by 83% in 12 months. • Measured, managed and enforced LEC performance on ASR’s, FOC’s and meantime to repair
