Daily Duties at Marine Max:
Supervise and train team of 4 in Revenue related functions for 12 stores including: retail and brokerage deal posting, commission payable & finance reserve reconciliation, and AR follow up. Assist Controller with monthly closing process and preparation of binders according to SOX regulations. Reconcile significant balance sheet and income statement accounts. Initiate monthly journal entries and general ledger adjustments. Respond to internal and external audit requests. Oversee and perform quarterly parts inventory counts. Other experience includes: bonus calculations, bank account reconciliation, budget variance analysis, processing of warranty and reserve chargebacks, review and recording of daily bank activity, wire transfer initiation, maintain fixed asset detail, prepaid reconciliation, monthly sales tax returns, parts inventory/work order adjustments, posting of warranty credits, AP, and manufacturer statement reconciliation.
