Daily Duties at Vse Corporation:
• Moderated and mitigated myriad interactions with high level officials at various government entities including: US Customs and Border Protection, Secret Service, IRS, and Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms. • Managed national and local vendor contracts • Communications liaison with the Department of the Treasury • Acted as the sole Financial and for the debut VSE/ US Treasury West Region Seized Property Auction in the Western United States. • Responsible for all procurement activities in the Western United States • Managed vendor relations and 15 direct reports including: seized property coordinators, the West Region Shipping and Receiving Department and the West Region Finance Department. Demonstrated the ability to lead and motivate a professional staff in order to realize their full potential while adhering to our corporate goals as well as the needs of the US Department of Treasury
