Daily Duties at Eastern Sun Enterprises:
Direct Report to the CEO, with a subordinate VP for operations, 3 Project Managers (PM’s) and 60 employees. Coordinated and oversaw the activities of the corporation. Exercised direct control over administration, human resources and general operations. Directly supervised the staff, managed a budget of $4M and oversaw all supply chain functions including procurement, receipt, storage, selection, packing and delivery of all materials to work sites. Personally oversaw all contracting, banking, cash management and legal activities; personally hired and terminated all personnel. Grew business from 1 contract to 35 over 3 years, valued at $5 Million annually. Developed succession plan; trained 8A partner to gradually gain experience with and assume duties in the methods of Government contracting; partner currently runs operations successfully.
