Daily Duties at Motorola:

Directed cross-functional teams in Original Design Manufacturing (ODM) and Electronics Manufacturing Service (EMS) to set up the Motorola test system within manufacturing sites for key product launches. These joint projects were ‘company firsts’ and therefore presented numerous interesting challenges. KEY CONTRIBUTIONS & ACHIEVEMENTS: - Drove groundbreaking launch of products jointly designed with ODM. Led team of 20 in IT/testing and developed ODM test engineering strategy, process and tools that resulted in flawless product launch. - Set up Motorola’s test and IT system at EMS sites across 4 countries, thus facilitating successful prototype and manufacturing activities for the new 3G, GSM, and CDMA phones. - Cut delivery cycle times and costs by integrating EMS and Motorola systems to allow EMS sites to customize phones for direct ship - Saved $3 million per year by improving the quality and timeliness of manufacturing test data from internal and external sites through server deployment and report capability.
