Daily Duties at Best Buy:

• Key member of the team that developed a number of customer facing service and customer retention programs at Best Buy including Reward Zone, Geek Squad tech bench upgrade programs, and an in store BTO proof of concept for desktop computers. • Director of Best Buy’s private label/direct sourcing model spanning a wide variety of products including flat screen televisions, home entertainment devices and accessories, computing products and accessories, and appliances. Sourced products from Asian suppliers and rebranded with exclusive Best Buy brands including VPR Matrix, Dynex and Insignia. Strategic benefits were to understand the true cost of goods sold in order extract higher margin dollars from vendor partners and to secure a direct engagement with key technology suppliers in order to influence roadmaps and secure exclusive products and features. • Developed and presented training materials sales and tech support teams for new products • Created merchandising programs with advertising and merchant teams
