Daily Duties at Wachovia:
Managed implementation process for multiple new product project requests, modifications and deletions of Treasury services for large commercial and corporate clients in a matrix environment. The project manager leads the project team and has independent responsibility for project success by negotiating deliverables, overcoming roadblocks, anticipate risks, accelerating project momentum through team motivation, linking operational processes and understanding product specific idiosyncrasies. Project managers employ effective communication, interpretation and negotiation techniques to effect project constraints. Used established tracking, documentation and other tools to consistently document the progression of the project, manage changes or risks, and notify stakeholders with updates on deliverables and provide reporting to upper management. Proactively examined industry product innovations and new product offerings. Expert product knowledge of all treasury/cash management services such as ACH, Positive Pay, Account Reconciliation, Online Banking, Sweep Investments, Cash Vault, Controlled Disbursement accounts and data file reporting. Bank application/platforms used EMERALD, Back office, Wire / Funds Transfer, RMS profile tracking systems, Analysis system, Vector, Document Direct, PEP+, SMS-Account Recon., AFS-Commercial Loans, and others. Microsoft Applications: MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Lotus Notes, and Internet.
