Daily Duties at The Movie Store:
• Responsible for hiring, supervising, and training assistant managers and store associates, as well as administering marketing and distribution, monitoring inventory and purchasing, overseeing accounts payable and employee payroll, managing customer accounts and documented invoices, and managing monthly backup of all office automation equipment • Oversaw daily business functions and operations that resulted in generating a sales of $100,000, as well as an under dollar general sales of $1,000,000 • Hiring and training of employees, processing paperwork, training employees for job functions • Responsible for employee and customer relation issues • Accountable in approving vacation time for employees, promotions of employees, and giving disciplinary action of employees • Worked with assisting young adults with future careers by participating in the Wage Investment Act (WIA); including giving young adults employment and better skills for their future
