Daily Duties at Dollar General:

• Responsible for hiring, supervising, recruiting and training assistant managers and associates • Responsible for monitoring inventory and purchasing office products and documenting invoices from vendors daily CAREER OVERVIEW …CONTINUED • Responsible for general appearance of store and daily bank deposits, as well as payroll of employees • Interpreted laws and policies to the employees • Coordinated with supervisor when more in depth actions need to be taken on issues • Determined former employees current status as rehires • Administered confidential record keeping, mediating, and interviewing has been a part of my skills as a co-owner and a store manager • Benefited and distributed information to employees of dental, medical, and vision programs • Collaborated efforts working in diverse environments in union and non-union environments • Performed dependability in processing paperwork, training employees for job functions, administering employee and customer relation issues, approving vacation time for employees, managing promotions of employees, and overseeing disciplinary action of employees
