Represented corporate human resources initiatives with union employees by focusing on employee relations, training and diversity. • Guide operations on management of employees under a collective bargaining agreement, focusing on policies, procedures and corrective action. • Fostered productive relationship with operations management and provided guidance and training regarding HR matters. • Investigated grievances and resolved issues between employees and management before Union intervention. • Represented Restaurant Associates in Labor Relations matters with Local 25 UNITE HERE. Liaised with six shop stewards on a daily basis. • Coordinated hiring, on-boarding and training for new employees. • Managed security clearances for candidates and employees and coordinated back ground checks with US House of Representatives HR Department and US Capitol Police.
