Daily Duties at Itt Systems (Gmass) – Arifjan, Kuwait :

Served as a Standard Depot System (SDS) Operation Specialist and Department Of Defense Small Arms Serialization Program (DODSASP) Specialist for the Amy Preposition Stock five (APS-5) site. Managed 1.3 Billion dollars worth of Army Preposition Stock (APS- 5). Issued equipment to hand receipt holders within assigned installation. Managed and directed the overall inventory, accountability, warehousing, procurement, maintenance and serviceability of all tactical equipment, supplies and materials (i.e., weapons, vehicles, etc.). Coordinated the shipment of equipment with the necessary documentation and bench checked all equipment prior to shipping and receiving including weapons checks. Performed assigned duties as SDS Operations Specialist, such as causable research and analyze documents completion. Provided management, customer service for Army Materiel Command (AMC) with logistics technology and information that ensures effective and economical support for equipment and systems. Maintained and recorded cancellations, modifications and status of requisitioning documents. Prepared shipping documentation recorded and inventoried all incoming/outgoing shipments. Utilized Army programs such as Standard Depot System (SDS), Army Military Command Installation Supply System (AMCISS), Army War Reserve Deployment System (AWRDS), Federal Logistics Information System (FLIS), and Standard Army Management Information System (STAMIS). Participated in programs such as army RESET, Automatic Retrograde Induction (ARI) and transitioning Theater Sustainment Stock (TSS). Maintain the transit plan of all out going equipment pre-determined to be shipped on Internal & External Taskers. Proficient in the following Regulations: DOD 4000.25-1-M, DOD 4000.25-2-M, DOD 4145.19-R-1, AR 190-11, AR 25-400-2, AR 710-1 AR 710-2, AR 735-5, AR 740-26, DA PAM 710-2-2.
