Daily Duties at Cargo Connection Logistics:
I was mainly responsible for any southbound cargo tendered to Cargo Connection (destined to the Miami Intl Airport). Cargo Connection’s customer base largely consists of various international airlines using JFK & MIA as gateway cities to consolidate shipments for export. I also handled various domestic (road feeder service) moves for various transportation companies including Delta, Continental, Air France, DHL, and many other Intl/Domestic forwarders in the Southeast. In addition to routing/data entry, my position also included manifesting, costing, communication with drivers, scanning/filing, etc…
