Daily Duties at Oracle:
• Evaluated, researched and recommended on Oracle General Ledger, Payables, Purchasing, Inventory, Projects and Assets at RCN (long distance and local Telecommunications Company). Part of an audit team assembled by Coopers & Lybrand (Price Waterhouse Coopers) to evaluate the installation and basic implementation of the Oracle modules by a third party vendor, TSC. Evaluated, researched and made recommendations solving business requirement issues. • Tailored, implemented and installed Oracle Purchasing at the FAA and its national sites. Investigated, reviewed, and mapped the Federal Aviation Administration’s Statement of work, customizations and interfaces to Oracle Purchasing. Researched, mapped and designed the interfaces from the legacy accounting and logistics systems to the Oracle Purchasing. Resolved integration issues of the links to Oracle General Ledger, Payables and Inventory modules. Planned for future additions of modules currently not installed. Developed project plan using AIM. • Developed, wrote training course and advised development at HQ - Center of Excellence, on Oracle EDI. Worked closely with EDI Development to advised them on client needs and to assist in the development of courseware on upcoming features. Explained business and industry needs to development, so that they could create a product that closer fit their requirements. Developed, wrote and taught Oracle EDI Gateway course for consultants.
