Daily Duties at Advance Media Depot:

Ensuring LAN computers were up and running, checking printers and/or orders that were left printing. Having morning staff meeting to communicate where status of orders/production or assembly that needed to be accomplished. Checking suplies daily for ink / ribbons used for printing machines. Updating spread sheets on status of jobs, conferring with either director of operations or regional sales on graphic approval or test print approval. Recieving / shipping from UPS ,DHL , Fed Ex on daily shipments from clients. Checking RMA's and calling companies with questions about status of shipments. Helping in warehouse on rush orders . Doing weekly inventory and communicating with low supplies. Keeping inkjet / thermal machines running smooth and without problems. Working with Photoshop and Illustrator several hours each day on creating new graphics from client ideas,sketches or verbal ideas, updating graphics for client approval ,or waiting on client approval from test prints to get orders done. Keeping a fine eye on consistency from print machines to ensure highest quality. Watching masters for quality assurance and burning either CDs or DVDs from that given master. Watching burned copies of master from each Talon Towers and keeping track of a given master if multible discs in series. Designing graphics from clients into printing format using the Sure thing printing program to the eight LAN computers that were connected to each printer. Updating masters library with new masters recieved over the week , making sure they were placed and given correct number and title. Helping with assembly / production when time permitted , answering phones and keeping co-workers up to date when orders were done.
