Daily Duties at Ibm:
As a consultant through Datronics, Inc - participated in the following projects: June 1995 – December 1995 IBM Southbury, Connecticut Developed, coded and tested new code for various DB2 and IMS databases to keep track of assets for IBM. Created new views, new DB2 tables, and new reports for end users. January 1995 - May 1995 IBM Southbury, Connecticut Researched, designed and developed changes in the Customer Master Record and Common Invoicing Systems; DB2 and CICS based online and batch database systems. Added new views of the data based on customer requested changes. November 1994 - January 1995 IBM Bethesda, Maryland Supported the Product Tracking database, an IMS, DB2, and CICS based online and batch database system. Researched, designed, and developed changes to the system based on user specifications. May 1993 - October 1994 IBM Southbury, Connecticut Developed and maintained the Common Intra-Company Billing System (CIBS), an IMS and DB2 based online and batch database system. Converted several of the online modules from using ADF (Application Development Facility) to use MFS (Message Formatting Service) for the user interface. Developed new online user interfaces to the database. Created a new DB2 table and used it in a batch application to assure the equivalence of portions of the IMS and DB2 databases. Added new batch reports to the existing ones. Designed, coded, tested and implemented several fixes to existing code to resolve change requests. Updated the User’s Guide and created additional internal and user documentation. Also served on callup, resolving problems with the batch processing portion of the database during the overnight batch runs.
