Daily Duties at Echo Star:
Status data for the technical team, i.e.: building, updating and maintaining the grid to track the technical team who installs the satellite system in the customer’s home, calling customer’s to provide estimate time of arrival, pre-calls, rescheduling appointments or informing the customer when the technician will be delayed, supplying or mapping the technician directions to customer home, and maintaining the grid in a timely matter. Maintain constant contact with the technical team especially when the tech is out of radio range by calling the customer or notifying the Field Service Manager. Each tech, depending on tech level, has a minimum/maximum daily point system level that must be obtained due to compliance. My responsibility was to assure tech achieved that daily goal by pulling in work when the technician’s work order falls off the grid because the customer is not home, work order is cancelled or rescheduled, or due to circumstance beyond the technician’s control.
