Daily Duties at Brightbyte Consulting:
AT&T Mobility Engagement • Served as Six Sigma Green Belt on the IT Scope Change Reduction in New Product Development (NPD) project. Project Goal was to decrease number of Scope Change Requests submitted for New Product Development (NPD) projects from IT by 50% (estimated cost savings $3MM). • Served as Project Manager in the Cingular IT Systems Customer Care & Billing Program Management Office. • Responsible and accountable for one or more medium to large/complex project(s) using the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodology. • Based on customer’s requirements, projects were delivered on-time, within budget restraints, from inception to implementation. • Managed communications and expectations of clients, sponsors, and end users. • Ensured project adherence to established IT project methodologies and standards. • Developed resource plans, risk assessments, project plans, reviews, and other deliverables as the project required. • Conducted business analysis via JAD sessions, including gathering, analyzing and documenting functional/business requirements and writing use cases, based on information gathering sessions with client/stakeholders/users and technical team members. • Conducted walk-through reviews to obtain signoff from all business and technical teams. • Ensured traceability of Business Requirements to High Level Design documents.
