Daily Duties at Affiliated Computer Services:
Managed operations of HIPAA compliant EDI clearinghouse and related activities ensuring all standards met or exceeded. Interacted regularly with project teams to analyze project status and provide complete and accurate required deliverables. Managed professional staff and associates with responsibility for the overall Program, including Profit and Loss responsibility, technical 400 seat call center operations, transaction processing, field services, systems business analysis, programming, needs assessment, design, development, Project Management Office, and support services. Oversaw user requirements, performed cost analysis, identified alternate approaches, and implemented solutions. Responsible for the successful operation and growth of the EDI team, including the management of procedures, workflows, manuals and forms, staffing, and quality assurance plans. Member of Executive Management Team responsible for providing executive direction and leadership in the development and support of operational and strategic goals. • P&L responsibility of $500 million in annual revenue • Created PMO organization • Managed 450 direct and indirect reports • $50 million annual budget • Covered approximately 19.4 million recipients • Process over 397 million healthcare claims annually • Disbursed over $40 billion in provider payments
