Daily Duties at O O B Consulting:
(6 month contract to Harcourt Education, completed in 5 months) Program Manager Directed and led 3 major initiatives: Depository Automation, Canadian Customs, and EDI for Shared Services organization. Developed and maintained project scope and schedules, created fully functional project teams, negotiated with department managers for use of additional required resources, directed and integrated project activities, managed various contractors and functional employees, and evaluated and reported project performance. • Installed new EDI functionality, saving $100,000 annually • Automated student educational book depository process • Implemented new process to speed deliveries through Canadian Customs, shaving 4 weeks off Customs hold time by delivering new Bar Code data on the Customs labels.
