Responsible for all activities relating to standards of conduct and ethical relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, associates, and the communities in which the company conducts business. Advised on difficult issues involving contraction formation, fiscal law, contract interpretation, and terminations. Managed, reviewed, analyzed, and provided legal advice on contract claims. Advised, crafted and filed trademarks. Successfully prevented infringement on those trademarks. Controlled outside legal counsel and costs associated with same. Developed network of attorneys across the United States to service corporate clients nationally. Provided risk management for all aspects of company endeavors. Provide leadership in the development of a compliance risk management program to assess, prioritize and manage legal and regulatory risks. Responsible for effectively communicating the compliance and ethics standards and procedures to all associates and other agents through effective training programs. Provide guidance to senior managers on compliance and ethics related matters and their impact on organizational objectives.
