Daily Duties at Geremia Law Firm, P.A.:
Supply multifaceted legal services as sole practitioner operating with support staff to provide legal advice, counsel, and direction to diverse clientele. Practice areas: contracts, employment law, family and domestic law, mediation and litigation, personal injury, estate planning and counseling, business and corporation law, copyright and trademark law. Facilely handle all aspects of firm management and supervision, legal services provision, and trial preparation. Assess cases, analyze facts, review laws, statutes, and regulations, and advise on business transactions, claim liability, and suitability of prosecuting or defending lawsuits or legal rights and obligations. Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations with probable case outcomes for individuals and business clients. Gathered evidence to formulate defense or to initiate legal actions. Evaluate findings and develop strategies and arguments for presentation of cases. Courtroom advocate, represent clients in court. Present and summarize cases. Argue motions, meet with judges, and question witnesses during the course of a trial. Represent clients in civil litigation and other legal proceedings. Primary legal counsel from initial claims through final litigation. Drafted legal documents and managed or advised clients on legal transactions. Advise on difficult issues involving contraction formation, contract interpretation, termination for default or convenience, and warranty enforcement. Manage, review, analyze, and provide legal advice on contract claims. Advised, crafted and filed copyrights and trademarks. Once obtained, successfully prevent trademark infringement. Advised on EEO compliance issues and potential risks to corporate clients.
