· Supplied backup support to operations as DFHSM / SMS Storage Administrator. · Provided backup support for the maintenance of the STK silo. Maintained the software and hardware. · Converted datasets from DFHSM to SMS. · Aided various projects with moving VSAM datasets to SMS volumes. · Evaluated IBM’s Data Stacker for feasibility. · Assisted in the implementation of the STK silo. · Converted all 3350 Dasd to 3380 Dasd. · Converted all OS and VSAM catalogs to ICF catalogs. · Converted DFHSM backup tapes to HSM specific tapes. · Aided projects moving private Dasd data into HSM.
